Why The Driving Has Been Put To 18? Hello I’m here to talk to you guys about why the law for driving has been put up to 18? So what do you gut think should they put it up or to just leave it the way it is? Did you know that boys are most likely to speed and drink well they are driving. They also have more chance of dying in a car crash then a female. Do any for you guys think that boys are more dangerous than girls are on the road? Well boys are more dangerous than girls. In all 6,000 15 to 20 years old drivers were involved in a fatal car crash last year. Three quarters of them were males. Did you know that back in the olden days kids were being taught how to drive at the age of 14 or 15? They though that it by the time they are 17 or 18 they would have had three to four years of experience. At the age of 15 or 16 some kids are better at drivers than most of us will ever be! Did you also know that most teenagers that like to drive really fast or drink and drive they get it from their parents. When you are young you watch everything that your parents do so what your parents do you are most likely to be the same as them too. Most males are not that bad at driving it just the way they were brought up. Females can behaviour the way males do while they are driving too. In conclusion I think that they should put it up to 18 because even though there are a few wise teenagers out there it will help the ones who just can’t wait to get their license and when they get to the age of 15 they could even ask their parents to start teaching them now so when the turn 18 they have a little bit more experience on cars and how they work. I hope that you have leant something new and I hope you have enjoyed my speech. Thank you for listening. By Royelle
